Born in Cleveland, Ohio, Brian graduated from The Ohio State University, Fisher College of Business. In his early career he worked as an Auditor and then a Tax Manager for regional public accounting firms across the United States. He later served as the CFO of a national tax litigation law firm, representing clients in some of the largest and most complex cases pursued by the federal government. This experience opened his eyes to how the pressure of serious tax problems can be truly immobilizing. Frankly, Brian understands what it’s like to fall on hard times financially. Helping people find actionable solutions to their tax burdens seemed like the natural next step in his journey to a gratifying career. This is why he founded Onyx Tax in Charleston, SC.
